expression of gratitude

The factory direct sale event held on Sunday, December 24th from 10 am was a great success, and we sincerely thank the many customers who visited us. We had nearly 200 customers, a record number, and popular items and guest products sold out within the first hour. We regret disappointing those customers who arrived later, as it was an oversight on our part.

Looking back, this all started 3 years ago during the coronavirus pandemic when we thought of holding a direct sale to avoid wasting our surplus stock. In the beginning, I think we had about 20 visitors? I personally posted about 2000 flyers around the neighborhood. At that time, I learned that the advertising effect of paper flyers was about 1%, which now feels nostalgic. Gradually, we expanded the area of our flyer distribution and also sought help from the district’s senior workforce. Still, predicting customer turnout remains a challenge. Why does it increase or decrease? It’s all very mysterious. Although there have been very few instances of bad weather on the day of the event, there have been days with low turnout and times when products sold out unexpectedly. We anticipate continuing to experiment and learn.

Thinking about this, it seems better to have a steady flow of customers throughout the event. Although the flyer announces the event for Sunday, we are also (not so secretly) holding it on the previous Saturday, so we plan to encourage people to visit on Saturdays as well.
