HONG KONG POP UP @HAUSTAGE 

n November 2023, I visited Hong Kong for the second time this year. This time, thanks to a connection, I had a pop-up at HAUSTAGE. I also exhibited my own brand, KOMENOTORIKO, which will start in earnest next year. This time, I wasn’t focusing on sales, but rather on the significance of exhibiting the brand. This included creating regulatory facts, capturing images, observing direct customer reactions, and verifying appropriate pricing. I felt it was sufficient time to see how our brand concept of ‘enjoying rice’ would be received overseas. This brand aims to propose ways of enjoying rice, a fundamental part of Japanese food culture, to foreigners and inbound tourists, in ways other than sushi. Therefore, participating in overseas exhibitions and pop-ups like this one is essential, and most importantly, our excellent saleswoman managed to establish connections in Hong Kong.

This is still a new brand, just getting started, but the experience in Hong Kong made me want to grow it into a brand that is both speedy and enjoyable. I would like to express my gratitude to everyone who cooperated and to the customers who made purchases. I look forward to your continued support in the future.
